June ’14 – Theatre, new EP, Rock School & the wood shed.

Busy times continue throughout June and I kicked off the month playing a run of shows at The Citz Theatre in Glasgow called ‘Sports Day’. It’s one of the many events happening in the run up to the common wealth games and features songs written by ‘Sparrow and the Workshop’s Jill O’Sullivan, ‘Vaselines’ Eugene Kelly, Chemikal Underground boss Alun Woodward, John Kielty and Claire McKenzie. Awesome fun.

Next up I have a run of gigs with Deer Lake to celebrate the release of our first EP ‘Manekineko’ on 16th June. We’re playing Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on Thursday 12th, Beresford Lounge in Glasgow on June 13th & Mad Hatters in Inverness on Sat 14th June. Can’t wait!

The Bainbridge Youth Music Project is still going great, we’re looking forward to hitting the studio with the kids and playing the end of term gig on the 27th June.

The rest of June is occupied with function gigs, private lessons and constant wood shedding in the rehearsal room with Discopolis!
