New Sabian Swag!

After recovering from KT’s epic UK/Europe tour I called up Sabian to grab a new Cymbal case & stick bag for the next upcoming tour. Mine had taken a beating (pun intended) over the last few years & I was in need of an upgrade. Sabian sent me the Pro 22″ Cymbal bag, the Quick Stick Heathered Black Bag & the 14″ Quiet Tone Mesh Practise Pad to keep my chops up (quietly!).

The Pro 22″ Cymbal Case is a game changer, it’s the best cymbal protection I’ve seen in a case. Edge protection wedges along the bottom ensure no more ‘dings’, thick padded dividers so no imprints of other cymbals & an ingenious hi-hat pocket allowing you to keep the clutch attached!! Oh and wheels.. because apparently I can barely carry the weight of my own cymbals haha.

Supporting Hall & Oates with KT Tunstall

Once again I jumped on a red eye flight to London this time to get ready for the arena tour with KT supporting Hall & Oates, no biggie!! After the first gig we soon made friends with their amazing band and crew & had a great tour. I never get bored of playing arenas, blasting the drums in venues that size is possibly the best feeling in world & something I would day dream about as a kid – Super grateful!!
